Ramble FX Twin Bender Fuzz in mint condition with original box, etc
The Ramble FX Twin Bender Fuzz is a particularly interesting take on the circuit, offering a series of fine-tuning options plus the ability to replicate two early versions of the original, through a two-way toggle: the venerable MKII, based on a three NOS Germanium transistors circuit, and its predecessor, MK1.5, which uses only two of them and therefore doesn’t reach the latter version extreme fuzziness.
Another three-way toggle switch allows for two extra EQ flavors, with a Mid boost and a Fat option (the center position delivers the stock tone).
Two small black knobs open up extra possibilities: the Bias sets the operating voltage of one of the transistors and at low levels makes the fuzz more sputtering.
The Impede mini-knob, on the other hand, allows Twin Bender to be used after a wah, buffer, wireless, etc., something that most vintage fuzzes cannot do very well.
