Available now is this killer Fender Telecaster from 1968. This guitar was originally a "Blue Floral" Telecaster which is the same paper as a pink paisley guitar from this era, only in a Blue Floral pattern. The paper/finish was ripped off at some point leaving only the bare wood and some remnants of the Blue Floral. This guitar was sent to Bill Crook, the leading expert in the Paper/Finish style guitars and was refinished in "Pink Paisley" as opposed to the original Blue Floral. He also put on a new clear pick guard. The neck is original with original frets and finish. The guitar would certainly play better with a re-fret but we will leave that choice up to the next owner. It plays fine with no fretting out, and no fret pitting, but they are worn. The pickups and electronics are all from 1967-68. I don't think they are original to the guitar but they are period correct. The bridge and saddles appear to be from an earlier era but they are vintage Fender parts. The case is also a period correct hardshell case!
