This is a new circuit entirely! It’s my second official release, and I’m trying something new. This is just for you, my people, my mailing list subscribers! Many of you have been with me since the beginning, even before DRV was launched. I really wanted to do something special just for you. You’ve patiently waited through barrages of new colourways, and I hope that this will be a sort of payoff.
I can only launch with a limited amount of these units, not even remotely enough to service even part of the mailing list. I want to give you all the first chance to get one! I’m also limiting LVL to one per customer, which I think is the most fair thing for the community (ANY ORDERS WITH MORE THAN ONE LVL WILL BE REFUNDED). So don’t tell your friends, don’t post about it. I am asking that you actually wait until the official release date of June 6th to post about it at all. If you love LVL (as I guess you will), it would mean the world to me if you could post something that day. We will all post together! Make a video of your playing, talk about it, take a pretty picture, or even a tik-tok!
LVL is a professional low-gain device, which achieves overdrive gain ranges with a new and unique circuit. A combination of light clipping and op-amp push gives the pedal a unique sound and gain structure. (It also works great on bass)
This is the pedal I have always wanted to make. To me, it’s a perfect low-gain stage. It’s the culmination of a 4 year process, and a collaborative effort with my friend John Snyder of ELECTRONIC AUDIO EXPERIMENTS.
